After a very long wait, Atlas Honda Launched a new model Honda city 6th generation in Pakistan. While most of the customers expected the 7th Generation Honda City in Pakistan Because the 6th Generation Honda City is Already launched in the international market almost 7 years ago. The new Honda City 6th Generation is here to Compete with, Toyota’s golden-laying goose Yaris, Changan’s Alsvin, and Proton Saga.

Engine And Transmission.

All the variants of Honda City have SOHC i-VTec 4-Cylinder 16-Valves engine. The first two variants have a 1199cc with 88hp and 110Nm torque. Meanwhile, the remaining three variants have a 1497cc engine, generating 118hp and 145Nm torque.  Two manual variants (1200cc & 1500cc) have 5-speed Manual transmission, and the other three variants have CVT Transmission.

Exterior:

All the variants of Honda City 6th generation come with premium Dual Barrel Halogen Headlights with Integrated DRLs. The Real lights have Advanced Wrap-Around Bulb lights, While the Fog Lamps is optional in the first three Variants, while offered in the top two ones. Honda City 1500 cc AS Manual and 1500 cc AS CVT have 15-inch Alloy Wheels, and the other three Variants have 15-inch Steel Wheels. All five variants have 15-inch Wheels with a Spare tyre, Also the first three Variants have a Keyless Trunk Opener and the other two Variants have Smart Key Entry.

Interior:

The First three Variants of Honda City don’t have Push Start, While other Variants have This Function. The First three Variants Don’t have Auto Air Conditioner, and Rear AC Vents, While other Variants Have these Options. All Variants have Ivory Interior interior color, also have Driver Seat Height Adjustment option. The Retractable Sideview Mirrors are Auto + Electric in two top-of-the-line Variants, But the rest of the Variants have this Function. All Variants of Honda City have Tilt and Telescopic Electronic Power Steering, The size of the infotainment in the first three Variants is 7-inch Touchscreen, While the rest have a 9-inch screen.

Safety:

In Honda City 6th Generation All Variants have ABS+EBD, Dual Airbags, and Auto Door Lock at speed as a safety feature, along with Disc Brake at the front and Drum Brake at the rear. Honda does not offer Cruise Control in 1200 cc Manual, While the rest of the Variants have this function. The Rear camera is optional in the first three Variants, While the other two Variants have this option. Honda City 6th Generation has some other features are ISOFIX seat for children, ACE body structure, ECU Immobilizer, Security Alarm, Impact Mitigating Headset, and Pedestrian injury mitigation technology.
